Although not much is known of Mr. Caulfield prior to his move to Lima, Ohio, during the time the members of Lima have come to know Mr. Caulfield they’ve also come to love him. Mr. Caulfield moved to Lima five years ago with Ms. Yelkca, who interpreted everything for Mr. Holden.Mr. Caulfield was a janitor at a gas station and shared his opinions with his community by voicing them in a column in the newspaper. Although Mr. Caulfield was a deaf mute, he inspired his community with his work ethics and his genuinely nice personality. Mr. Caulfield loved to water polo and play baseball. Mr. Caulfield will be awarded citizen of the year this year for his role in his community, which will be accepted for him by his fiancée’. Although Mr. Caulfield will be greatly missed, we are happy because we know that he is now in Heaven with The Lord who he served with extreme gladness during his stay here on earth.
